Hi, I'm Mia —
I am a recent graduate from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with majors in Computer Science, Accounting, and Finance in the Raikes School honors program. Currently, I am working at Nelnet as a Corporate Accounting Intern and as the COO and co-founder of Creevo. Later this summer, I will be starting a full-time position as a tax accountant at Creative Planning in Omaha, Nebraska.

A little more about who I am.
I grew up in Leawood, Kansas and came to UNL for the Raikes School, a selective honors program that combines computer science with business. Four years later, I'm finishing a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance, carrying a 3.95 GPA and a Dean's List streak since freshman year.
The common thread across everything I do is building, whether that's financial systems, AI products, or communities of people. At Nelnet I'm preparing investment schedules and walking through internal controls. At Creevo, the AI-agentic game-creation startup I co-founded, I lead finance and operations. Earlier work at Mutual of Omaha and Termsheet gave me real experience shipping LLM-powered tools in production. Outside of that, I've led a 200+ member Pi Beta Phi chapter as President and taught web development to young women through Girls Code Lincoln.
The pages below go deeper on each of those. The short version: I like problems that sit at the intersection of technical and human, and I'm always looking for the next one.
